NanoKlean hollow fiber series filter cartridges have been engineered to deliver the finest particle retention and the superior flow rates at minimal pressure drop for the most demanding applications in the latest microelectronic technology node. Hollow fiber technology enables a highly compact filter element design with no center core. Thus, NanoKlean hollow fiber series filter cartridges provide up to 2 times more surface area and up to 5 times higher flow rates at a given pressure drop when compared to conventionally pleated filter cartridges.
This increase to flow and decrease to pressure drop allows a typical 10” NanoKlean hollow fiber series filter cartridge to perform similarly to a 20” pleated filter cartridge. This significant advantage allows for the use of smaller filtration footprint and filter housings resulting in decreased hold-up volume, filter change-out times, and total cost-of-ownership for the life of the process. In particular, hollow fiber membrane is up to 2 times thicker than the flat sheet membrane which improves filtration depth, particle retention, and pressure resistance.
